Ingeniero de Sistemas de la Universidad Católica de Oriente y desarrollador backend senior. He trabajado en consultoría (Pragma) y en banca (Banco Finandina), dos mundos distintos de exigencia técnica y de negocio. Además soy fundador y CTO de GoLocal y Bemba Sessions, donde me toca todo el lado técnico: diseñar la arquitectura, modelar los datos y llevar la plataforma a producción desde cero. Autodidacta, me gusta liderar pruebas de concepto y meterle mano a cosas nuevas antes de que sean tendencia. Por estos días le estoy metiendo la ficha a datos e IA.
Cuando no estoy resolviendo un bug o armando un endpoint, seguramente ando viendo jugar a la Selección Colombia o al Real Madrid, con música de fondo (de lo que sea, soy bien melómano) o metido en un Assassin’s Creed, un Spider-Man o rompiéndola (o no) en FIFA. Creo que un buen backend se parece a un buen equipo: no se nota cuando todo funciona, se nota horrible cuando algo falla. Por eso me tomo en serio lo que construyo.
Systems Engineer from Universidad Católica de Oriente and senior backend developer. I've worked in consulting (Pragma) and in banking (Banco Finandina), two very different kinds of technical and business pressure. I'm also the founder and CTO of GoLocal and Bemba Sessions, where I own the whole technical side: designing the architecture, modeling the data, and taking the platform from zero to production. Self-taught, and I like leading proofs of concept and getting my hands on new things before they're trendy. Lately that means data and AI.
When I'm not fixing a bug or building an endpoint, I'm probably watching Colombia or Real Madrid play, with music running in the background (I listen to pretty much everything) or deep into an Assassin's Creed, a Spider-Man game, or trying my luck at FIFA. I think a good backend is a lot like a good team: nobody notices when it works, everybody notices when it doesn't. That's why I take what I build seriously.
